August 12th, 2009
Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy announced today they have earned a position of 235 on the 2009 Inc. 500, Inc.’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
“While coming in at 235 in the nation is an amazing achievement, the additional details are even more resounding,” stated Phil Hagerman, President and CEO of Diplomat. The details Hagerman refers to are these:
- Of the 43 companies in the health care category, Diplomat ranked #1 in total revenue
- In terms of total revenue Diplomat made the top 10, coming in 8th out of all companies on the Inc 500 list.
- The list is ranked by percentage of growth over 3 years (not total sales), Diplomat’s growth is at 917% over the 3 years
“If you want to know which companies are going to change the world, look at the Inc. 500,” said Inc. editor Jane Berentson. “These are the most dynamic, fast-growth companies in the nation, the ones finding innovative solutions to problems, creating smart systems, and inventing products we soon discover we can’t live without. The Inc. 500 list is Inc. magazine’s tribute to American business ingenuity and ambition.”
“At Diplomat we’re proud to make Inc.’s Top 500 list. This achievement recognizes the creativity, dedication, and hard work that have gone into building Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy into what it is today,” said Hagerman. “We could not have done it without the tremendous leadership of our executive team and the fantastic support of each and every one of our employees.”
